Position overview
We are seeking a confident, assertive Onshore Delivery Lead / Scrum Master to own day-to-day delivery for an Integration Platform Engineering team in a large healthcare technology organization. This is an ongoing, multi-year contract that renews in five-month increments.
The role connects product priorities to executable team plans, coordinates onshore and offshore contributors, manages cross-team dependencies, and gives leadership clear visibility into progress, risks, decisions, and release readiness.
Key responsibilities
Stakeholder and Delivery Leadership
- Serve as the primary delivery interface between platform engineering, Product Ownership, the Portfolio/Program team, and dependent teams.
- Turn status, risks, dependencies, and decisions into concise updates for leadership.
- Escalate unresolved constraints with clear impact and recommended options.
Planning and Team Execution
- Facilitate sprint planning, standups, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and release readiness.
- Maintain the integrated delivery plan, milestones, capacity, and dependency sequencing across onshore and offshore contributors.
- Protect sprint goals and keep decisions reflected in Jira.
Risk, Dependency, and Release Management
- Identify blockers early and coordinate owners, mitigation, and escalation paths.
- Plan environments, approvals, security reviews, QA, and change records ahead of delivery.
Transparency and Onshore/Offshore Partnership
- Maintain accurate Jira boards, dashboards, RAID information, and leadership reporting.
- Run one delivery cadence and shared source of truth across time zones.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, Technical Project Manager, or similar role supporting engineering teams.
- Agile delivery in Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Experience coordinating onshore and offshore engineering resources.
- Clear reporting to non-technical leadership.
- Working knowledge of APIs, integration services, microservices, cloud, CI/CD, or DevSecOps.
- CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or comparable certification.
- Experience in a large, regulated or healthcare technology environment.
- API management platforms such as Apigee or Kong, event streaming, identity services, or developer platforms.
- Advanced Jira, Confluence, query, and reporting skills.
