Position overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Leader to lead Agile delivery across Kubernetes, Internal Developer Platform (IDP), cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering initiatives.
This is more than a traditional Scrum Master role. The successful candidate will combine strong Agile delivery leadership with technical fluency across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, developer platforms, cybersecurity, and architecture. The role does not require hands-on engineering, but it does require the ability to understand technical discussions, uncover dependencies, remove barriers, and translate complex engineering work into actionable delivery plans.
Key responsibilities
Platform & Developer Portal Delivery
- Lead Agile delivery across Kubernetes, container platform, Port.io / IDP, cloud, and platform engineering initiatives.
- Coordinate execution across platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, architecture, and application teams.
- Coordinate Port.io / Internal Developer Platform implementation, enhancement, engineering onboarding, self-service capabilities, integrations, automation, and adoption.
Kubernetes & Infrastructure Coordination
- Lead delivery coordination for enterprise Kubernetes capabilities spanning platform engineering, observability, security, networking, automation, reliability, and lifecycle activities.
- Support application/workload onboarding and migration to Kubernetes environments.
Delivery & Accountability
- Manage roadmaps, delivery milestones, dependencies, risks, impediments, capacity, and RAID items.
- Maintain transparent delivery reporting and backlog visibility using Jira.
- Drive accountability, remove barriers, facilitate decisions, and escalate unresolved cross-team dependencies.
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in Scrum Master, Agile Delivery, Technical Program Management, or technology delivery leadership roles.
- Experience delivering Kubernetes, cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, or developer-platform initiatives.
- Strong Agile and Scrum delivery experience.
- Strong Jira experience across roadmaps, backlogs, dependencies, capacity, risks, and delivery reporting.
- Proven ability to coordinate complex delivery across multiple engineering and technical teams.
- Strong technical fluency across architecture and engineering environments.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, executive communication, problem-solving, and escalation-management skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Port.io / Port or comparable Internal Developer Platform experience, including Cortex, OpsLevel, Atlassian Compass, Humanitec, Roadie, or Cycloid.
- Enterprise Kubernetes/container platform delivery experience.
- Cloud Engineering Management, DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering experience.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, SRE, observability, IAM, networking, APIs/microservices, and infrastructure automation.
- Agentic AI, Generative AI, AI platform, or Enterprise Architecture delivery experience.
- CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMP, or comparable certification.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
